Contributions & Charges

The North Mandurah School Board has endorsed the 2022 School Contributions and Charges Schedule.  This schedule includes how your contributions are directed across the school and will allow you to calculate all costs that our students might incur throughout the school year.

1. VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS

The total amount of contributions parents and carers are being asked to pay for 2022 is $60.  Money collected will be used to supplement school expenditure in curriculum learning areas as listed below.

• Classroom Activities
• Library Book Supplementary
• Health and Physical Education Resource Materials
• Mathematics Resource Materials (including individual maths workbooks where required)
• Science Resource Materials
• English Resource Materials (including individual spelling workbooks where required)
• The Arts Resource Materials
• Technology & Enterprise Resource Materials
• Society & Environment
• LOTE
• Digital Technology Materials

Payment Methods

Contributions and charges can be paid in the following ways at the School Office:

• Cash
• EFTPOS

2. CHARGES FOR EXTRA COST, OPTIONAL COMPONENTS

Charges refer to the cost for activities that students may participate in to enrich their education.  These activities are optional and the school is required to inform parents of the maximum cost that maybe charged:  You will be asked to make payment for each activity as it approaches.

RDA Horse Riding	Years 3 to 6	Up to $30 per session
School Photos	Kindy – Year 6	$25 – $70
Sporting Program	Year 1 – 6	Max of 12 per year up to $15 each event
Course costs for PEAC in the Peel area of South Metropolitan Education Region for 2019.	Year 5 and 6	If selected will be no more than $300 for the year.  (Cost depends on courses selected which range for $15 to $110).

These prices are a maximum costs.

3. ITEMS FOR PERSONAL USE IN THE EDUCATION PROGRAM

We have negotiated competitive prices for the materials on the list but you are not obliged to use our supplier.  Please note, it may be necessary to replace some items such as pencils and glue throughout the year.
